Why take a private yoga session with ARTFUL ENERGY?

 

Maybe because...

 

  • You are new to yoga, and would like to learn the ropes before heading into a group class.  A series of one on one sessions can be just the right thing to build your confidence and prepare you to join a larger group.

 

  • You are injured or are recovering from an injury, or you are pregnant. An experienced yoga teacher will work with you on poses that will help to heal your injury, rebuild your strength and flexibility, and teach you how to prevent future injuries from occuring. For expectant mothers, yoga has been shown to alleviate the physical and emotional stresses of pregancy and help prepare mothers for childbirth.

 

  • You have limited range of motion or a chronic medical condition. Group yoga classes may not be for everybody, but just because you are concerned about a group class shouldn't mean that you miss out the profound benefits of a regular yoga practice.  Yoga has been proven to help increase strength, flexibilty and balance in students of any age.  Yoga can also help in the treatment of many chronic medical conditions, including Depression/Anxiety, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Back, Neck and Shoulder Pain, Insomnia/Sleep Disorders, and even Heart Disease.

 

  • You would like to open your body, mind, and spirit deeply and safely.  An experienced yoga teacher can provide expert hands-on adjustments to move you more deeply into yoga poses, even if they are poses you've practiced many times.  Since physical opening of the body can be the gateway to the relase of deeply held emotions, private yoga provides a nurturing and safe setting for the full range of experience yoga can provide.
